I bought two pair of capri pants from Sam’s Club (where you can’t try things on) and decided that they would be my summer pants. I’ve decided to wear only these this summer, with frequent washings, so we’ll see how this goes.
The problem is that they don’t fit well. They don’t go ‘in’ at the top – they are just a tube for my waist and butt. If I had a better bottom this wouldn’t be an issue, but alas, my hiney is lacking. All week at VBS my backpack (full of first aid/extra kiddie clothes/Kleenex) has been slowly pushing my pants down. (There was a lot of pants-hiking today.) I came home and tried on a belt, but I only own two and neither seemed to work well. So I decided to take in the waistband.
Not knowing how to do it right, I googled it. After watching two minutes of a how-to video, I decided that I didn’t care if it was right, I just wanted it done.
The first pair went surprisingly well. The second pair?
Hmmm, that looks terrible. Better just power through.
That’s a broken needle, in case it’s hard to see. I guess we’re done here.
