I read about a two-ingredient ice cream recipe that sounded intriguing: you whip heavy cream and condensed milk together and then freeze it. Done. I decided to flavor mine with coffee and a Heath bar.
Instructions: pour cream and condensed milk into bowl. Begin to whip.
Get a couple of tablespoons of instant coffee and spill most of it on the counter and floor.
Smash up a Heath bar (still in the wrapper) with a cutting board. So. Fun.
Add that in.
Ok, put in containers and freeze.
Time to taste!
Bleh. It was so, so fatty. I looked on the Internet to see what I did wrong, and I think I over-whipped it and pretty much made Heath-speckled, coffee-flavored butter.
