I bought some things for Deborah’s bathroom that weren’t needed for the final iteration. One of those things was a toilet paper holder. Lloyd and Deborah both had the idea to use it to hold half a roll of paper towels. You might laugh, but I always just tear off a piece tiny enough to get the job done. I buy the half-sheet kind, but get about five small pieces out of each towel. (You do not need a whole piece to wipe up a little milk splatter.)
Anyway, it is attached to the inside of the cabinet with double-sided tape. The old holder was on the counter, so that’s one less cluttery thing, right?
On to cutting the roll in half. I used a hacksaw, and am the first to admit that this process could have gone a lot better.
So there we have it. What essentially looks like a roll of toilet paper in my kitchen. Hope it works out.
