It was a good day. A regular day, until my television died. Dang it! We only use it for half an hour, but it is a vital half hour.
Later I hung the paper towel dispenser back up in the room I painted. That was a minor triumph, but I will wait until I can show you why. Then I had home visits and television buying, and now I am home with nothing to show for it.
Ok, here’s a good story: at my last home visit I met a blind cat. She was about eight years old – a little brown, long-haired cutie. She had been adopted as a one-eyed cat, then developed glaucoma and had to have the other eye removed. She seemed to get around just fine, and was very, very loving. I thought about stealing her, but pet theft is bad form at a home visit. Her name? Winks.

“Winks”…love it!
Brad says
How interesting. I’ve heard of blind animals, but never seen one. I’d be curious to watch her walk around the house.
Rachel says
None of them have ever seen you either, Brad.
