Note to self: You brought WAY too much food to the Grandparents’ Tea. That’s alright, because next year you’ll overcorrect and not bring enough. Life’s funny that way.
Not much to report today, so I thought I’d update you all on the water table. We haven’t put water in it for a couple of weeks, and it’s too good of a table to just leave un-played-with. I decided we should fill it with dry leaves, and had several gleeful little minions assist me with the task.
“Whoa! It’s soooo deep!”
“I can put my hand to the bottom!”
“Why are we doing this?”
My answer? “Why not?”
By the way, a Happy Birthday to my friend Kate. I don’t think she reads this anymore, but on the off chance she does I wanted to say it. 🙂

Haha! “Why are we doing this?” is a question I get a lot too. A good answer for many of my situations is: “It’s good for your brain,” which is probably true in the case of pre-schoolers putting leaves in a water table too.

My usual answer to that question is “Why do you do a sit up?”
