Well, it’s almost time for the Lighted Christmas Parade again, and we are running a little behind in our preparations. It doesn’t help that the forecast is supposed to be very cold – the high next Saturday is only going to be 31. I hope we have a good number of kids turn out.
Anyway, this weekend was spent getting the float out of the storage shed and assessing the damage. Last year we bought all new wheels, but this year we needed two more since they went flat and won’t hold any air.
On the plus side, when I was buying tires, I bought myself a new drill! It’s smaller and lighter than our other drills. I hurt my elbow last year with all the lifting and drilling at awkward angles, so I think I’ll write this purchase off for medical reasons. 😉
So, here we go.
