The big snow is too cold to do anything thing with in the early morning. It doesn’t stick together very well, so we just tromp through it.
But in the afternoon? It’s a little melty and sticks together rather well. Yesterday one of my guys said we should start making a snow castle, so we just started scooping snow in a semi-circle. Today, though? Today it was perfect cutting snow. I got out the spade and started to cut blocks. My job is to cut blocks, holler to preschoolers to come get them, direct them where to put them, then sigh when toddlers crawl over our hard work and knock it all down. It all works out.
Oh, yeah.
I hope it’s still there on Monday. 🙂

What a super-cool memory for them. Plus, as you cut out blocks, you’re clearing the snow away!

So glad you are willing to do this. They will be coming up 20 years from now telling you about the memorie.
