Lloyd and Mrs. Royuk had to go do Republican stuff in Omaha on Saturday, and since I am a big fan of Omaha and not a big fan of politics, I tagged along.
I had a couple of quests, mostly unsuccessful, but still had a great time looking around. I looked inside RV’s (yay!), walked around Cabella’s (yay!), went to Menard’s (yay!), walked around the Old Market (yay!) and then drove to the convention center. I was over an hour early. Sooo…..
I rented a city bike! That was so crazy! There was a kiosk/rack by the convention center where you pay a by-the-hour fee and I rode around the block, then around the convention center…. that turned into a longer ride…. that involved a not-so-steep but very long hill….. and I was done. My muscles were burning and I was all sweaty. Yay for long, excruciating exercise! I parked my bike and congratulated myself on my stamina and endurance.
It had been twenty minutes.
Deborah says
Twenty minutes on a bike is the same as 20 hours of walking. Well done!
Lauren says
That’s what I want to hear. 😉
Jill says
How was the convention, Lloyd??
Mom says
Lol Lauren that is my speed.
Brad says
When it comes to exercise, I always say something is better than nothing.
…and now I’ll get back to sitting on my couch.
