Sunday was a good day, but I don’t have any pictures of anything I did. So, I’m going to try and make a link to a pretty cool video. It’s of Hastings Catholic School kids bouncing basketballs along to the song “Greater” by Mercy Me. (I don’t know the whole song.) They bounce the balls on one beat of each measure (whole note), then twice a measure (half note), then quarter notes and eighth notes. If someone had done this with me when I was a kid, maybe I’d be better at basketball. 🙂

I don’t know if that will work as a link if you’re not logged in. Here’s hoping!

Cool! I would love to use this in music class, but we don’t have that many basketballs. Do they sell basketballs at the dollar store?

It worked! Great idea.

I think the first bounces should be bounce passes and not very, very slow dribbles.
