Lloyd and I came home to some officers talking to the people across the street. No big deal. After dinner, though, they were still out there but now they were talking to some young men, too. I announced that I was going upstairs to spy.
I tried listening I through a slightly cracked window but they were talking too softly. I didn’t want to be obvious, since I was, of course, sneaking. After a while I got tired, stood up, looked out – and there was Lloyd out there just talking to them.
DANG IT, Lloyd. You don’t know the first thing about sneaking.
By the way, it was no big deal. The kid hit our neightobr’s trailer and damaged it. No one was hurt.
