I hung some art on the walls today. Long ago we declared that if we were going to put any art on the walls, it needed to be done by someone we knew. Or not. We’re not really that picky, we just had high ideals at the time.
At the big garage sale, Lloyd bought some pieces by Professor Marxhausen. We already have one over the piano, and now we have three more. Today I finally found homes for them.
Two are in the bathroom. One is a paper collage, but the other is a very interesting wax-pencil-on-mirror that is just like Marxhausen’s eyebrows and mustache. (It is dangerous to clean – I accidentally wiped off some of the drawing.)
Another is a framed box front. Someone in Ontario – ‘L. Johnson’ – mailed three drawings to Marxhausen and the box was so cool he framed it. I will have to take a better photo in the daytime since this one is far too dark.
This place is turning into a regular gallery!

You’ll have to charge people an entrance fee to walk into your house.
Much of the art in my house is by people I know, also. They are lesser known artists: Macy and Bethany.

You should mail something to that Ontario Guy’s address and see if he’s still there
