Darn those little videos that pop up on my Facebook account. I watched one about making your own clear labels with a laser printer (not inkjet) or a photocopier and it looked fun. You print out whatever, cover it with packing tape, rub over the image, then soak it in water for a while to remove the paper.
I just now put it on the jar so I don’t know how long it will last, but it was pretty fun for five minutes worth of work.
CDC Updates: They worked on the playground to move dirt around. I’ll update on that later this weekend. In the meantime, here’s a model. Don’t think, “Awww, that’s so cute and sad. The preschoolers did it.” I did it. The preschoolers cut the tape for me.

So how does the tape stick after it’s been soaked?
I like your model. It’s so cute.

I put it on when it was still a little wet and really rubbed it on. It seemed a little slide-y, but this morning it seems to be stuck on fairly well. I think I might have to label everything. 🙂

That’s so interesting! I wonder if you could do temporary tattoos that way. Wait… that wouldn’t work. You’d have to leave the tape on your skin.

Cute trees…I think.
