We have had some children with lice at school. Not in my room, thankfully, but we have interactions with them all the time and spend time in their rooms. Wednesday did NOT go as planned, but instead we had talks about head bugs and what we were doing to make sure they didn’t stay.
I was home by 8 and spent some serious, serious time on a head inspection. *jibblie*
(By the way, it may look like a bug above the comb in the photo. It isn’t. Lice are much, much tinier.)

I wonder what had lice do when the art on somebody’s head. I mean, can they survive away from heads?
Brad says
I used voice-to-text to write that comment. I guess it didn’t go so well.
Kristi says
Every time somebody talks about lice, it just makes my head itch.
Lauren's dad says
When I was about 7 or 8 in Brasil, the teacher shampooed the heads of two younger sisters with kerosene in front of all of us because of head lice. Embarrassing, yes; but it sent a message.
Lauren says
That there is a scarring memory, I’ll bet! Yikes.
