Today was a pretty good day. Lloyd and I helped one of the women I work with move a loft out of the old center, then I ran some errands: picked up the bulletins from church (Lloyd has services tomorrow), deposited some checks and finally cashed out some coins, then went to Lincoln to get some stuff. Back to the CDC to do a couple of things and then home for laundry. I’m watching a movie (Independence Day:Resurgence) as I type this, so that’S why this is subpar writing.
Yeah, that’s why.

Ooh, I love to cash in coins. We all guess how much is in the container.
Brad says
Guess how much Lauren has in the picture.
Lauren, you tell us how close she is.
Kristi says
$26.84
Lauren says
Off by a LOT.
Lauren's mom says
$16.84 ?
Kristi says
You’re not kidding. That is an incredible amount of money. More quarters than I could see…obviously.
Lauren says
Yeah, it was mostly quarters. It was fun watching the money-counting machine! 🙂
Lauren says
It was $130.10. It’s not all my money -- some of it was collected by the children this past summer for our playground. Some of it is getting donated twice. 😉
Lauren's mom says
Wow!
Kristi says
In my defense, I could have used a quarter for size comparison on that container. 😉
