You know that you are a high-functioning ADD person when your impulses happen in reverse. For example:
I wanted to eat a grapefruit.
So, of course, I got out the food dehydrator.
Then I asked Lloyd (who has been cleaning the basement) if I still had an apple peeler.
I do. It needed to be attached to a thin countertop, so that’s a t.v. tray. (That is also the basket of laundry I set down when I decided I wanted to eat grapefruit.)
I peeled some apples (someone just gifted us a bunch of apples), cut them up and put them on the dehydrator.
Next, the peeling of the grapefruit. I didn’t want to waste the peel since one of my kids gave me some natural potpourri stuff that had dried orange peel. So…..
Then, the total peeling of the fruit – all membrane off. It’s much thicker than orange or lemon and comes off surprisingly easy.
Eating these feels like being royalty, I tell you. Well, I’m off to eat them. And finish the laundry. And…. shiny!

Heh. My day was just the opposite. I was able to do some focused, sustained work on grading. I was very proud of myself. And I’m completely caught up. Until school starts today. It’s Vocabulary Test Day in all my Literature classes.
