There isn’t a picture for this post, but that’s ok. I’m usually not up to posting on Friday and it’s possible there might just be photo additions to this later.
Our church has a new set of communionware. It’s a pottery set, made by the son of one of Concordia’s art professors. This weekend is its debut, and Lloyd and I will be the first to set it all up. That is, I will be the first to break it all.
We met with the altar guild leader Thursday night and discussed the best way to get it all upstairs without breaking anything – pottery or backs. There are some people working on foam inserts for trays, but Lloyd and I might cobble something together for Sunday.
That’s all I have to say about that.
In other news, please continue to pray for my mom. Her leg is pretty swollen and she has had neuropathy in her legs for years anyway, so this whole situation is not fun. Thank you!

We’re reading a book in Literature class that is about potters. I’ve watched a lot of YouTube videos about making pottery, so I’m sure I could help with repairs if need be (he said facetiously).
