We are having some ant issues. Besides the regular sink ants and cat-food-area ants, there are some larger ants coming from the chimney area. We need to get some people out to take care of the ants and the leaky roof.
There is an additional water issue. I was pounding Wally this evening and noticed there was water on the basement floor by the wall. It hasn’t rained in a while, so we looked around. Lloyd thought a pipe was sweating, but it turns out that there is a tiny little hole in Ralph’s down-water faucet that was spraying a tiny little spray.
Great. Just great.

Ugh. All of that stuff is why I wish I had a personal assistant. I would just tell them there was a leaky pipe, and they would make the appointments and phone calls and payments.

When we lived in Maryville, we had ants all the time, …and roaches and an occasional mouse. Bold house are for every thing! , !

I think that is supposed ro say, “old houses are for everything.”

Old houses certainly have their ups and downs. Parts are very sturdy, but others… well, they have ants. 😉

I am sure you have put your torro out. We have been sprinkling borax outside the house all around. You have to do it over when it rains but it is not real expensive. Put it in an old spice shaker and use that to shake it around.
