That title would be more readable on a calculator.
I had a disappointing day in Omaha. The restaurant supply store moved locations, which explains why when I pulled up it now said, “A-1 Kitchen and Bath”. Grrrr. I called Lloyd and asked him to find the new location, then got lost finding it. I made it with five minutes to spare before they closed at noon. Oh, well. Off to Target to buy some shirts.
No.
No.
For ….. twelve years? fifteen? my ‘uniform’ has been some sort of Merona shirt: short or long-sleeve tee, crew or v-neck, with the occasional sailor/boatneck whatever. But Target doesn’t have Merona anymore, they have some stupid new brand called ‘A New Day’. The styles are sort of similar, but slightly different. Everything is trying to be tragically hip. Dang it! Double Dang It!
I need a personal shopper.

The title made me laugh! And also brought back memories of my mom saying, “You kids stop messing with my calculator! You’re wasting the battery!”

Ugh. I’m so sorry to hear that. I haven’t had too many troubles with my clothing brands changing, but I’ve had many heart-breaking food brand changes.

‘A New Day?’ I don’t think so, Target. I’ll stick with the Old one, thank you very much.
