So much food. Where are we?

November 9, 2017

For some reason, we have a TON of food in this house. On Sunday I bought supplies to make a triple batch of chili, so we have some in the fridge and some in the freezer. I also made a giant batch of sloppy joes so the people who came to an evening training at the CDC could eat supper. We have a fair amount of that left over, so it’s in the freezer. I also made some chicken soup, and the leftovers are in the freezer. Then Lloyd did a nice thing for some lady at school, and she sent home a casserole with him!

I think we are set until December.

That’s awesome, especially since December is so crazy with schedules and events. I’ve done some “Cook once, Eat twice” meals this week, and it feels great to see the freezer filling up that way.

If your cupboard is full of breakfast cereal, you always have dinner.

That reminds me… I need to get some cereal.
