Long ago, Mrs. Royuk (I’m pretty sure) gave me a dish drainer from IKEA. I love it. I’ll get it out when baking so I can just wash-as-I-go, and it’s very handy. I’ve thought about just having it live in the sink, but it is round and doesn’t fit. Dang it.
I have thought about it enough that I decided to go ahead and just get a rectangular one. It would be a good test to see if perhaps I could keep the kitchen counter cleared off. (Ha ha ha ha ha!! Wasn’t that a funny thing I just said? I’m such a slob.)
Anyway, I bought one at Wal*Mart.
Guess what?
It doesn’t fit! you have got to be kidding me. Do I have some sort of mutant-size sink? Oh, well, a little bending and…..
Good enough.

I always have dirty dishes beside the sink because if I put them in the sink, they’ll be in the way. I just have one basin.
Maybe I should get a dish rack for my dirty dishes so they will look better until I clean them.

I have a double sink and no dishwasher (unless you count me). I hate hate hate when people put dirty dishes in the sink because then I have to pull them all out when I go to wash them. Please just stack them neatly on the counter so I can get to washing them with less hassle.
