It’s not the heat, it’s the humidity. Oh yeah, and the heat, too.

January 8, 2018

It has been so dry and sparky around here. I’ve had a small humidifier going for a couple of weeks, but every so often I boil up a pot of water to make the cats less electricfied.

I also bought a heater for the upstairs bathroom. Usually I use a heater with a timer to warm it up just for getting ready in the morning, but I’ve always wanted one of those radiator-style heaters, so I got one. I love it! It’s quiet and steady and the bathroom is toasty warm. Mmmmmm…. the one warm room…..

That bathroom radiator is nice heat. Not as drying as forced-air. In my house in Baltimore, the radiator covers all had water pans in them that you could fill and add a little humidity to the air.
