Lloyd had services at the nursing home on Sunday. As usual, he woke up well before dawn to write ‘put the finishing touches’ on his sermon. I didn’t go along this time. Y’know – savin’ the lives of the elderly is what I’m all about.
On the home front, I ate several servings of magic yogurt, and I think that it has done the trick. I felt well enough to process all the laundry and even went outside for a little bit. I took the bolt cutters to the rose bush that grows wild on the south side of the house. When the wind blows the branches scrrrrraatttch the siding and windows, so I chopped the heck out of it, then cut the long, twisty arms into manageable sticks that would fit in a box. It was only about ten minutes of work, but I’m very proud of me. No photos, of course.
Here’s looking ahead to a normal week!
