Lloyd had services at the nursing home on Sunday. As usual, he woke up well before dawn to write ‘put the finishing touches’ on his sermon. I didn’t go along this time. Y’know – savin’ the lives of the elderly is what I’m all about.
On the home front, I ate several servings of magic yogurt, and I think that it has done the trick. I felt well enough to process all the laundry and even went outside for a little bit. I took the bolt cutters to the rose bush that grows wild on the south side of the house. When the wind blows the branches scrrrrraatttch the siding and windows, so I chopped the heck out of it, then cut the long, twisty arms into manageable sticks that would fit in a box. It was only about ten minutes of work, but I’m very proud of me. No photos, of course.
Here’s looking ahead to a normal week!

Proud of yourself -- but no photos? There is a profound lesson there that I ought to share with my social media obsessed students.

You must be feeling better if you’re conquering the great outdoors. Keep getting your rest, dearie.
Brad says
What’s your go-to yogurt? Do you do the Greek stuff? What flavor do you do?
Lloyd says
I purchased this round of yogurt, what on account of Lauren being deathly ill and all. Having never purchased yogurt before, and because it’s hard to get yelled at if you buy the most expensive stuff, I went with Activia.
Personally, I have only recently started eating yogurt, because they serve it for lunch at school with things that I, apparently, like less than spoiled milk. next time you meet a dairy farmer, bow down to him/her as the intellectual giant that he/she is. They have convinced us to eat spoiled milk in more forms than any other pervayer(sp?) of food stuffs.
