I chopped up a lot of stuff tonight so I can put a bunch of salads together tomorrow. Cheese, sausage, peppers, onion, olives, celery, carrots. It’s work that I like, though, and makes me think how much I would like to be a prep cook.
Then reality sets in and I realize that after about three hours of that I’d be done.

I’ve often thought I’d like to be a sous chef. A friend of mine is a gourmet chef, and I love to work with her in the kitchen.

Not traveling yet. Thursday is my travel day, though it’ll be more like Friday Nebraska time.
