The art show is coming up, and there are several pieces that could/should be hung on the wall, so that’s been my job. One is a very interesting metal plaque that has two holes at the top – pretty obviously for a chain or something. We found a necklace with a cool chain on Saturday, and this morning it was my joy to take it apart.
I needed some jump rings for the holes. Fortunately, I watched a video about jewelry making long ago, so I’m basically an expert. Twirl wire around a pen, then cut. Bam. Rings.
It gives this lovely piece the ability to hang on a wall, so I feel I’ve done my job.
I’ve decided the name of my art-mounting business will be ITLDU.
