I thought I had made a post about first putting up panels in the school-age room a while ago and I see that I haven’t. I began this process – I don’t know, back in February? Maybe it was March. Anyway, I liked the look of the fake wood treatment so I went with that. This whole process has been rather hodgepodge.
I dyed two panels, waited for them to dry, cut them up and put them up.
I was going to have one leftover piece that was already cut for the correct angle for the ceiling and thought about just tacking it up. It seemed to shame to stop there, so I went ahead and dyed one more panel, waited for that to dry, then hacked it up into little pieces to fill the rest of the space.
Yep. Good enough for who it’s for. It ain’t perfect, but it’s done.

Hopefully I have caught most of the typos. I was using voice-to-text because I am lazy. 🙂

From a distance, it looks more like stone than wood. I think it looks nice. And good job finishing something! As a person who has a million unfinished projects, I salute you!
