Soooo……..
When Brad was here, one of the many odd odors emanating from this house was coming from the bathroom. God bless Brad and his super-sniffer – he sniffed around the exhaust fan and lo-and-behold, a dead bat was in there. Did I post about it? I see that I did not.
Well, last night I went to bed and Wally was in the bathroom looking VERY INTENTLY at the exhaust fan. I went in and heard the familiar scrabble-scrabble of a bat. Dang it! I hollered down to Lloyd and he said he was wrapping up some emails and he’d be right up. It gave me time to set up a webcam and then hide.
Lloyd is a trooper. He took the fan fixture down, waited for that BIG bat to fly out the window, but it wouldn’t, so he wrapped it up carefully with a towel and took it over to the window. It hung out there for a very long time because it was so dehydrated and exhausted. He gave it a drink of water and it was gone a little later.
Lloyd. He’s the real Batman.
Lloyd says
I’m Batman.
Kristi says
By day, you’re a teacher. But, at night, the REAL you comes out.
Peggy says

Lauren's mom says
And soon that sweet BIG bat will be back in the exhaust fan and will probably die in there.
Brad says
I’m glad Lloyd didn’t get the rabies. You’d a might’ve had to put him down.
