Those crazy lepers

I am eternally grateful to the college girl who loads the dirty dishes and cleans up the kitchen most of the afternoons at school. It shaves 10-20 minutes off my day. God bless McKenna. She loads up the racks and leaves them for our cook to wash in the mornings.

Every so often, though, we use a ton of dishes and they need to be washed before the morning. I don’t mind doing that, and leave a note on the drying dishes so she’ll know what’s up. I’d been just leaving a post-it, but tonight I made a laminated, two-sided note. For my days?

On McKenna’s days?

Ha! I got one of those magnet thingies for my dishwasher years ago. I have no idea where it is now. But I think mine said “Clean” and “Dirty”.
