I deal with a lot of ineptitude during my days. Most of it is developmentally appropriate, but sometimes it’s things like college students filling big humidifiers and not realizing the wate is pouring out the overflow hole in back. Two. Two people doing the same thing with two humidifiers. Two. (Overflowing the buckets that I have set back there to catch accidental overflows, and then just staring at it when I pointed it out. I had to talk them through how to switch buckets and get towels to sop up the carpet mess, then how to wring out the towels. Oy.)
Sometimes it’s a five year old, who has previously been in trouble for drawing on the floor in pen, using a purple marker on the dresser. Grrrrrr….
(He cleaned both messes.)

I think those college kids need a life skills class, similar to what Brad teaches.
Brad says
Hey, that kid is like Harold and the Purple Crayon! Did you just read that book to them?
