Snow Tired

January 22, 2019

I am tired. We had bad weather that was supposed to get worse during the day. The local schools took forever to decide to close, and we weren’t sure if the CDC should be open. My director and I decided to open with the possibility of closing early, but we were open all day. It’s a big headache finding out all the schedules of staff and children that are coming and who is staying home and making sure of everything.

Tomorrow isn’t looking to be much better. I’m sure the schools will have a late start, but our day will be wacko again.

Teacher friends? Know that I hate you all just a little bit. I’m looking at you, two-days-off Lloyd and company.

No snow days here either. Baltimore was always good for three or four surprise days off during the winter. I miss snow days.

We homeschoolers don’t take snow days. We take sunny days in the spring instead.
