Attainable Life goals

March 2, 2019

This past week was Dr. Seuss week, and on Friday our theme was “Oh, the Places You’ll Go”. I asked the kids to draw what they’d like to be when they grew up.

This girl said ‘toy store’ as she was drawing, but ‘Wal*Mart’ when I was taking dictation. I’d you can’t read it, she wants to be ‘a chedker’ – a cashier.

I stuck with ‘toy store’.

So glad you are reading Dr Suess. Movement on to call it racial. I loved those books and never saw anything but good in them.

Haha! I was just talking with someone who said that when he was little, he wanted to be a McDonald’s worker. It was such a happy place for him.
