I seem to be getting lazier and lazier on the weekends. Sorry about that.
Not much happened this weekend, which was blissful. I mostly sat around and watched Lloyd do stuff. On Saturday he was on the phone a loooooong time with some troubleshooting guy to fix the school’s website. Then he went up in the attic to troubleshoot the bats. As it turns out, the bats that I saw leaving the gable vents are not actually in the attic – they are hanging out (literally) outside the screen and under the louvers. That’s good for not having bats inside, but not so good for bugs. We’ll have to figure that one out. He was too tired to run errands in Lincoln with me, but I’ll forgive him for that since there is no way on this earth that I’m going into that attic.
He had services on Sunday, which I got to watch, as well. He did wonderfully. Then it was home for naps and a little cleaning. He went to watch the Cardinals game with Sam and then the Other Sommerers fed us a fine dinner that couldn’t be beat.
Now, it’s Monday again and I guess I have to be an awake grown up all day. Dang it. Dang dang dang.

It’s a shame there is not some smell that would run those bats off. Or some chemical that would irritate them.
Brad says
That’s good news about the bats. I hope that gets resolved quickly and easily.

Mark and i were human burritos in our chairs most the day Saturday…..i heard football here and there…. That’s what weekends are for. That is very unusual for me tho…. i’m usually a spaz and can’t sit still. I must admit it was nice to take an all day nap. Good deal on your bats only hanging out! Hhmmm, garlic mobile, maybe?
