I was so tired this evening, even though I was home by six. I did a few chores, ate dinner, then struggled to find the energy to do something for the bathroom project. (boo) I settled on bringing up the ladder and the ceiling paint. That’s enough. (yay)
Then I thought I could maybe just edge it. Edging would only take…. an hour? It has a lot of corners. (boo) I adjusted the ladder to reach some corners and climbed up. I saw that the water damage by the light had actually loosened some of the ceiling. (boo)
Wait, then I really shouldn’t paint tonight! (YAY!) Dang it, I have some caulking. I could fix it. (Imagine your own boos and yays from here on out.) That’s right, I just squirted caulk in it. Good enough.
I was so thrilled that I had an excuse not to paint, but then I had trouble finding the cap for the caulk. It certainly wasn’t on the counter….. that really needed re-caulking……… big, big boooooooo.
Dang it. I grabbed a kitchen knife and did the world’s fastest, laziest re-caulking job in the history of history.
I squirted it in and did all the stuff you’re supposed to do to make it look like nothing ever happened, and was done.
Ugh. I did not mean to do that much. At least I didn’t have to paint. 🙂
