‘Way back in September (August?) we spent money on exercise equipment – a treadmill for me and a stationary bike for Lloyd. As with everything in life, we used it faithfully for about a month, then they were just conversation pieces in the living room. (That’s right, the living room. Smack dab in the central hub. If we had put them in the basement or anywhere else, they wouldn’t have been used two days in a row.) Anyway, I have lowered my goal substantially. I used to walk for 30 minutes, so I decided that 10 would be just grand. 10 minutes a day? Any idiot can do that. Tonight I increased my productivity by 10%!! I tried to take a picture at 11 minutes, but I kept goofing up. Ah, I feel healthier already.

Past my Prime
As this sieve of Eratosthenes shows, given my expected life span of 74.7 years, I am now, clearly, past my prime. I am currently prime (37) and have had 11 good, prime years of life previous to this one. In order to have 11 more prime years I will need to live to be 83 years old. As any hip actuary could tell you, that is statisticalishously unlikely.
