Speaking of BM’s

February 21, 2007 by Lauren 6 Comments

Old.

Old & crappy

New.

New & cheap.

I think I might need some Clorox grout cleaner.  Hmm.

I don’t think we should speak of BM’s. There is something nice about a new toilet seat though. I prefer metal-looking hinges myself, but a nice, new toilet seat is always a joy.

I also prefer metal-looking hinges, but I’m living in anticipation of the basement people coming, so I want to make sure we have lots of money to fix this broken house. (That’s not too dramatic-sounding, is it?)

I think it sounds like a new HGTV series, “Fix This Broken House”. Only I would add at the end, “But NOT With My Money”.

Why does the 2nd picture have a yellow tint … or need I ask?

I vote for the metal hinges too! I’m glad you didn’t get a padded seat, or a wooden one. Those split when they get old and then pinch your arse. 🙁
