This morning I didn’t get very far with my deception. We had both Monday and Tuesday off, because the band & choir went on a little tour. I was putting my socks on this morning when Lauren came up stairs and said, “I’m wise to you, buddy.” I was surprised that she found out, but at least I hadn’t put on my school socks yet. In a prefect world she would have found out before I got out of bed and told me to sleep in (you can’t get any real yard work done until after 8:00 anyway with stupid Daylight Savings Time). She had a 2 hour break in the middle of the day and brought me some lunch. Then she helped with the yard by doing 5,6 and generally documenting the snot out of things.
Three times over the last two days Beth stopped by and all three times I was sitting at the computer, “taking a break”. I couldn’t convince Tara to do any raking, but I got done anyway. The last leaves were put in the, so called, compost pile a little after 6:30. I can’t wait to get back to work.

You and your fancy animated pictures! You make me sick! (I mean jealous.)
And that second picture… AAAAHH!
The yard looks nice.

I live in chore dysfunction & it irritates me to see those on the path to recovery …
Lloyd says
Keep in mind that these two days of lawn work could easily be over 50% of the total time I spend on the yard all year.

until company comes or did you think i forgot mah mah mah hahah

That was the best ever. You guys are all going to have to come up again sometime and work on the yard. We should have Tina & Paul come up too. But we should do it in the summer, so that Brad can help dad tell us all what to do (Brad doesn’t actually tell us what to do in the yard. He just does it himself, but with a crew that large we’d have to have someone standing around pointing, and I don’t know if my dad can point for that long).
