From Annette to Brad

March 19, 2007 by Lauren 5 Comments

Note the extreme wear and tear

I feel like I’m passing notes.

Dear Brad, Annette wanted me to show you what happened to her handles.  The lower ones are where she keeps the delicious snacks and cereal, the upper ones are where she keeps the vegetables and fiber-rich foods.

First of all, I have to laugh about the phrase “Annette wanted me to show you what happened to her handles”. Hahaha! Okay, I’m better now.

It will be interesting to see which cabinet handles wear out in my kitchen. I think I use the trash cabinet most of all. Then probably the dish cabinet. Then the cereal cabinet. What will happen to my handles? I can hardly wait to find out.

Is this the Annette who used to comment a lot, but not much lately? And where’s Todd Pepperkorn? If I ever write a novel, I would like permission to use this name in it.

Maybe you should rotate the knobs so they are even.

It is indeed. She’s taken a vow of silence for some reason. She’s weird like that. You should bug her about it!

        To Annette:

Where have all your comments gone,
        Long time passing,’
Where have all your comments gone,
        Long time ago,
Where have all your comments gone,
Put away like the Hymn of Praise,
        When will you ever learn,
        When will you ever learn.
