Chef Brad

July 12, 2007 by Lauren 10 Comments

Will I ever take a picture that isn't blurry? What's wrong with me?

Salad Man made good on yet another salad tonight.  This time it was the garlicky chicken, fresh mozzerella, cherry tomatoes, fancy lettuce and a balsamic vinegrette with (I’m quoting here) “a half cup of sugar in it”.  I was glad to assist as sous chef – cubing cheese and chicken. Dang if it wasn’t the tastiest concoction this side of the Big Blue!  Lloyd said it had the perfect lettuce-to-non-lettuce-items ratio of any salad he’s ever had.

Birds, cow juice solids and foliage

The chicks usually lose interest when they find out he’s a Libertarian.

Yes and yes. We were looking at various themes that we might use for http://www.1988saints.com (1988 is the actual number of people who will be raptured in, oh, about 3 days).

Is the comment counter on the new site busted already? 🙁

What is this “comment counter” of which you speak?

My bad – it’s working now. Unless you fixed it and are being sneaky… When I was there earlier, there were no comments – I added mine and it still said no comments. Now I see that Beth beat me by many hours.

I just fixed it. I didn’t know it was doing that because Brad and I were the only ones testing comments, and we were both logged in when we posted. It was requiring posts to be approved, but it doesn’t now.

I’m going to try to get Brad to setup accounts for everyone else in our class later today. We’ll see how that goes.
