Awesome! I shared first the bacon mat story with a friend who is from the south (read: loves bacon, lard, and fried things generally, although in his defense, he’s a foodie, so he loves all good food). He directs an association and works regularly on Capitol Hill, so the next step for your gallery is surely an Act of Congress mandating that we all eat bacon mats every week. It’ll be part of the next Farm Bill, I think.
Don’t be surprised if the next visits to your breathtaking bacon mat gallery are from Senators Nelson and Hagel…
