Buns of Steel

Journal, Lauren, Lloyd

Lloyd has a story to tell, but he’s working on stuff for school and he asked me to tell it.  Apparently, during one of his computer classes he walked past the eraser tray of the whiteboard and caught his pants.  All twelve boys heard them tear, and he said, “Well, looks like I ripped my pants.  Who’s got duct tape?”  One of the guys threw some at him (I just have to say – what’s up with that?) and Lloyd got them started on a project, then patched his pants.  Such resourcefulness!  I think I’ll have him hem my skirt.  No hair jokes, please.

If it's broke, duct it.

I used duct tape to hem a skirt once! I don’t remember if it was high school or college but there was a skirt that I needed -- it was long and I needed it knee length. Duct tape saved the day!
Good patch Lloyd! Are you going to keep the pants and keep wearing them with that attractive patch?

Are duct tape pants a violation of dress code? If they aren’t, you should totally make some pants out of duct tape. Except they’d be really hot. I mean not cool. I mean you would be warm wearing them.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Falling off my chair laughing…

    I’m filled with comments I can’t make!

I once sewed a girl into her skirt during college (her zipper had split) but Lloyd’s idea is much more subtle.
(why do your students carry around duck tape)
