I regret not taking a picture a couple of days ago, when I thought I had completely missed a tier of branches on my fake tree, but it turned out they just didn’t light up anymore. Today, it got worse. The complete middle third of the tree is kaput. I ain’t fixin’ it.
Ok, I cracked myself up when I looked at the photo – it looks MUCH more noticeable in a picture. When I’m in the living room I look at the t.v.
Tomorrow’s Christmas Eve – comin’ up on Jesus’ birthday! My question to you is: What’s your favorite Christmas tradition or memory? I’ll start: My dad is a pastor, and had another congregation in a town a half-hour away. We’d have our Christmas Eve service (concluded with the traditional paper bag of an orange, some peanuts, and some Russel Stover’s candies), then drive to Paonia to sit through the same service put on by kids I didn’t know, then we’d drive home. We would have to sit in the car in the driveway while Dad went in to ‘see if the furnace’ was on, then we’d go in to see all those presents from Santa!! We were a family of Christmas Eve openers, since Dad had to preach in the morning. (Nowadays I open a present whenever I want to – nobody can tell me what to do! Nobody!! Mmmmmmuuuuahahahahah!!!)
Ok, share the memories!
