Journal, Lauren

This was supposed to be yesterday’s post, but it was pre-empted by the napkin disaster, which has only grown in size.  The dye remover worked (mostly) except I didn’t have enough.  So I went to buy two more boxes, but forgot to rinse the stuff out without drying.  It’s made from some pretty serious chemicals  (AVOID BREATHING DUST.  USE WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION.)so my clothes might disintergrate while wearing them.  Remind me to not wear a white shirt to church.  Stupid Lauren.  Anyway, here’s a happy story:

Annette came along with me to run some errands in Lincoln on Tuesday evening, and one of our stops was Target.  I love Target, mostly because all their displays are so beautiful.  (Even their clearance stuff.)

So neatly arranged…

Brightly colored summer things on sale… what’s not to like about that? Time for a party!

I buy all of my underwear at Target.

What if they were on sale at say -- Walmart, would you pass them up to go to Target?

      • Brad Said on:

If it were my brand? I don’t think I’d have a problem with that. Target is easier to get to than Walmart from my house. Plus, there’s all the beautiful displays.

          I don’t know…

Harold’s underwear is carried by both Wal-Mart and Target, but the ones we buy at Target last longer. We thought it was just a fluke, but we tested it three different times, and sure enough, the Wal-Mart Hanes don’t hold up as long as the Target Hanes.

          Weird, huh?

(And please don’t tell Harold that I’m commenting about his underwear for all of lloydandlaurendom to read. He’d want to punch me, but settle for rolling his eyes in disgust at my candor. He’s a modest man.)

hehe … if it makes you feel any better all the males in my family wear Hanes, purchased at Target as well. That’s a lot of Hanes around … Thank goodness they all wear a different size.

Speaking of underwear … Beth -- I’m more impressed that Brad went with you bra shopping! Now that’s a real supportive brother if you ask me!

HA! To be clear…he just wondered around the mall for a half hour while I actually shopped. There are lines to draw, you know. 😀

Thank you so much for sharing.

My Target just rearranged all their departments & jumbled them all up so now I look like a lost confused puppy when I’m there. Wait … I think that’s my natural look … ??

I don’t often shop at Target, I don’t know why. I was amazed by Lauren’s Target skills. It’s like she was one with the store.
