We’re headed home Saturday, and the curse holds true. Nearly every time we drive through Kansas City the weather is bad. We’re supposed to have a snowy mix, so your prayers will be welcomed.
Not much else to tell. We spent the day sitting around watching t.v., Lloyd’s mom made a delicious dinner, and now Lloyd and his brothers are playing Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit and ignoring my input. They don’t seem to think it’s funny that I holler out ‘Keebler!’ every time an elf question pops up.
Michele says
We spent the night playing Canasta with my brother and his wife. The only “hollering” was at the 7 kids to keep it down while we tried to concentrate.
Do you all love any card games?
Beth says
I believe I can answer that one…
Lloyd and Harold and Beth truly enjoy card/board games. Brad and Lauren
hateare mildly tolerant of them.Deborah says
I can’t stand card games.
Brad says
You should drive through Baltimore in February some time so we can have a snow day. In fact, I bet kids would pay you lots of money to make it snow on demand.
Beth says
I imagine they would…didn’t they pay hundreds of dollars for old mugs?
Peggy says
No galu govad gen!
^ ^ ^
No in elenath hilar nan had gin!
Lauren says
Home safe! Peggy, are you ok?
Peggy says
Ha! (It’s something that Legolas would say…I thought for sure Lloyd would be able to interpret)
Glad you’re home safe & sound! You two must have amazing driving skilz!
Kitt says
I think that’s Keebler-speak.
Happy New Year!
Mom says
I guess the Mo. weather got Lloyd again. If Lauren hadn’t had a cold, I would say that was most certainly true. Get well soon.
