I’ve been behind in doing laundry this week, so tonight I grabbed a big gob of clothes and stuffed them in the washer. (It’s high-capacity, so it can take it.) I washed:
7 pairs of dress pants (one of them Lloyd’s best pair)
11 shirts (3 of Lloyd’s school shirts, his best Sunday shirt, 2 t-shirts, and various school shirts of mine)
some socks
a green pen
Wonder of wonders, miracle of miracles – these two shirts were the only things that got inked. I guess stuff was jammed in there too tight for a lot of damage.
Seriously. That’s all I’ve got.
I’m not sure that “gob” is the collective noun for clothing. I went looking, but it’s not on the list. Maybe it’s a shoal of clothing? …a herd of clothing?

Maybe I should have said ‘gaggle’.
HA!
The next time I’m in the ocean, I can’t wait to yell out, “Watch out for the smack of jellyfish!”
Yay for miracles!
Hmmm, I don’t know if that ever happened to my dad either.
No, it didn’t! But I did wash his police badge once!!
I always wondered why it was rusty…
Will tomorrow’s post be a testament to the ink removing power of soap nuts?
What’s Lloyd doing with a St. Patrick’s day pen in April?
I believe Lloyd wrote a post on that very subject… http://lloydandlauren.com/2009/03/07/i-bet-this-never-happened-to-mr-buesing/
just checking to see if my new gravatar image works…
rats… Lloyd? Help.
be patient… testing again.
Woohoo! It looks like it worked!
Hey, having washed more than my share of chapsticks, pens and other marking/staining objects, I think that this really is a laundry miracle!
Test
Hooray! Annette made her avatar!
Wonder whose celebrity photo it is?? I need her royalties to pay for my tune up!
