Lloyd’s brothers came down for the weekend, and from all appearances, they’ve had a nice time. Lloyd roped them into helping him clean the house on Friday while I was at work, and the place looks fabulous! Thanks, guys.
Other than that, they’ve played games. You’ve already heard about Friday night’s Settlers of Catan game with Curt and Harold. Today was spent with all three of them at their respective computers playing some multi-user war-game thingie. They are extremely quiet when they play. Long periods of silence will go by, broken occasionally by:
Aaron: We’re probably going to get bombed.
(Half-minute of silence.)
Lloyd: Yeah, probably.
(Five minutes of silence.)
Lloyd: Ok. I should declare war now?
Andrew: Yeah, go ahead.
I had a great day, thanks for asking. Slept in late, made breakfast, watched t.v., took a nap, and admired all the water in my rain barrel. Yessir, a good day.

*hehe* this sounds like what my friends do. ^_^ I didn’t know that geekieness continued this far into adulthood.
Lauren says
*sigh* …unfortunately, it does.
Brad says
I’ll have to remember to not pick my nose while I’m sitting behind you and you’re on that computer.
Beth says
Aaaawww…It’s so nice to see they have something in common. 😀
Peggy says
Wow…I thought Aaron was Lloyd…they have the exact same computer face!
Hehehe…’their natural habitat’….HA!!
Peggy says
Oh and do these brothers have any extraordinary abilities…similar to the 5 chinese brothers…or maybe even ones that surpass theirs.
Todd Peperkorn says
So do the brothers have jobs?
Lauren says
Each of these boys is gainfully employed, and one of them just had an offer accepted on a house! (They all secretly hope to be offered employment as game testers, though.)
Karla says
Holy cats! That’s a lot of house! Congrats, Brother Sommerer! 😀
Lloyd says
Andrew makes more money that I do. Wait a minute… Why did I pay for the pizza?
Sommerer Sailor says
Because someone payed for that expensive lunch on Thursday 😉 … I never dreamed soda would cost that much 🙁
Lauren's dad says
I’m glad you have two little brothers to look up to, Lloyd!
Lloyd says
I think this is how we’re going to roll from now on. When company comes, they have to clean the house.
CousinSam says
You and your wife are hereby invited to the St. Charles Sommerers! I need the cleaning. Lauren, You can forget about the mosquito/”earth friendly” downspout watering waste of time- here there are two rivers full of sewage that we have to use in order to fix things that happen upriver.
