(That’s a song, right?)
Well, where to start?
The morning started out with the need to take the niece and nephews go-karting. If you’re going to be in Branson, you need to have some Branson fun. We went to two spots – the first had slow cars, but a nice, smooth track. The second had fantabulous cars, but a terrible track that made you feel like a James Bond martini.
Jacob preferred the first track.
Our afternoon was spent on a pontoon boat on Table Rock lake. That was all kinds of fun – Charlie, Jacob, Rachel (Phil’s wife) and Keren rode on an inner tube behind the boat, and not a one of ’em died. Then we parked in a peaceful little cove whilst many of us (not me) went swimming. We got to test out the underwater feature of our camera, and got some cool video. I’ll have to post that later.
Lloyd had fun, but has been working on earning the ‘crazy’ back from his title, “Crazy Uncle Lloyd”. Charlie and Jacob cut him deeply when they said he wasn’t very crazy. He spent a good portion of his afternoon booby-trapping their condo with firecrackers that popped whenever they opened doors or drawers.
What a good uncle.
In other news, we have been eating meals like you can’t believe. My family cooks well! Also, I have broken one lamp and popped one light bulb just by turning it on. I think there’s a curse around here or something.
