Well, a shower, breakfast and a handful of Tylenol and it was off to Lincoln to do some shopping. We didn’t leave until 10, so we weren’t amongst the crazy early shoppers, but the stores were still plenty full. We mostly had some replacement things to buy for school, so our shopping was pretty focused.
We looked at a lot of ovens. I’m stuck between “This is the only time I’m ever going to buy one of these so let’s get something awesome and gadgety’ and ‘Good grief, you just need something that makes food hot.’ This is going to take a while.
I’m committed to getting a smooth-top, even though I know I’ll scratch the bejeebees out of it. I toyed around with a dual-oven because I only cook for two people, and it seems totally awesome more eco-friendly to use the smaller oven for most jobs. The largest little oven (what an oxy-moronic phrase) was on an awfully pricey model, though.
Whatever. Making this decision might take us months. Good thing I have a plan for using our current oven. I’m just leaving the pan drawer out and plugging it in when needed. I could do this forever.
