So, in keeping with yesterday’s ‘What is it?’ theme, may I present to you this house that we drove by on Saturday?
What is going on with those holes? Some sort of ventilation? Bird house thingie? Bat entrance? It was very difficult to not go pound on their door and tell them the trouble that can come with inviting bats into your home, but Lloyd stopped me. Something about no more money in our ‘bail’ jar….
A side note: I like driving around old neighborhoods and looking at houses. The waste of gas makes me feel bad, but it’s certainly fun.

I tried googling it, but couldn’t find anything in the first five minutes of searching. Then I got distracted. It looks like a birdhouse to me. A birdhouse in the walls of your house? Seems weird…

I’m sure they’re for the barrel of a shotgun.
You’re lucky Lloyd turned you away.
Mark says
A potential nesting place for purple martins? Just think: natural mosquito and other flying pest control.
Peggy says
I bet there’s a screen behind those holes to keep bugs & such out…but what are they keeping in there that needs holes to survive? And what’s that thing on the side of their house, right above the windows.
When they go on vacation, you must investigate!

I think you should have Lloyd build you a garage and breezway like they have…..you could convert the breezway into your “experiment” lab.
Lauren's mom says
I think they have the same kind of “vent” on the side of their house….
Don’t know why, tho.
Lauren says
I think you are all right! Prizes all ’round!
Lauren's dad says
Check the address/phone book for Bird, Byrd, or Marten.
Lauren's mom says
I am trying to change our gravatar thing and just want to see if it worked.
Lauren's mom says
Nope!
