Drawings, Journal

Over on Lloyd posted about when his grandfather passed away in 1970. I was sympathizing with him, but it got ugly.

Lauren: “1970, huh? You were a baby.”

Lloyd: “Yes. I was just an infant.”

Lauren: “I bet I was a much better infant than you.”

Lloyd: “No, I was a very good infant.”

Lauren: “I was two days older than you, so I was obviously the better infant.”

Lloyd: “I was so good that when I was tired, I would crawl into my playpen and go to sleep.”

Lauren: “You know what that says about you? Lazy infant.”

Hehe… that makes me think of Penelope from Saturday Night Live. I don’t actually watch the show, but I recently saw a few skits of hers online.

    “I was a better infant than you… so…”

Oh Lauren, I’m so sad for you that you only have four toes on your left foot….it must make finding shoes really hard!
