I like to visit Kevin Kelly’s CoolTools site everyday, and this week there was a wonderful review for something called a PocketMod.
Apparently there is a way to fold a single sheet of paper into a mini-notebook, and you can do it by just using regular paper, but this PocketMod program allows you to customize your notebook by dragging-and-dropping lists, games, grids, calendars or whatever onto your pages. It’s nutty! (You can even include the directions for how to fold and cut, which I did.)
I may just have to say ‘goodbye’ to the little pieces of card stock I keep in my back pocket. This is awfully, awfully cool.
Brad says
Very cool. But too much work for me, I’m afraid. I’ll stick with index cards for now.

Our websites are hosted on a new server today. Does it seem faster to you? Or, alternately, is anything broken?
Rae says
Does seem faster. And, I know that this has nothing to do with today’s post, but your bike post (I tend to read several posts in one sitting) made me remember that Sam bought an adult tricycle from Heit’s Point. Very cool. I will be the envy of all (old people) when I wheel down the street.

It does seem faster! Sometimes it would take a while for your site to appear after I clicked it from Brad’s site. Let me go back & try it again.
Peggy says
Yup, super speedy!

Is that a section for “If lost, return to…” in the corner? That’s funny.
Peggy says
Very cool & fun indeed! I already tried to make one, but I couldn’t see the ‘fold’ instructions very well, so it didn’t turn out right. D’oh…them I found them under miscellanous. Back to the drawing board. I have colored paper here at work….and beings no one else is working today…maybe I’ll just play all day long!

I love Cool Tools. I am still trying to persuade my handy husband to install the home carbonation system from there: http://www.kk.org/cooltools/archives/001818.php

You. Need. That.
I fully support you in this venture!
